ABOUT ME
Hello and welcome to suchasihave.com. My name is Nathan Caparolie and this is my personal outlet for all things creative and inspired. Before I explain the purpose and inspiration behind the site, let me tell you a little about myself.
I am the happy husband of a beautiful and godly wife, the father of three incredible children, and a pastor by calling. I have a long list of hobbies and activities that I enjoy. If it involves adventure, speed, competition, or some combination of all three, I’ll probably try it…at least once! I’m also a bit of a nerd when it comes to technology, especially if it involves music. Regardless of the outlet, I simply enjoy living and sharing the abundant life I’ve been given with others.
Over the course of my adult life I’ve had the opportunity to serve and lead an incredibly loving, vibrant, diverse, and dynamic church for more than a decade. I’ve also owned and operated my own business, played, produced and recorded music, and encouraged thousands of people through song and the spoken word. (There was also a short stint where I attempted to become a race car driver but I’ve yet to see it materialize).
From leadership lessons and creative inspiration to Biblical instruction and life-application, the things I’ve received are too good to keep to myself. That’s why I want to share them with you.
The name of my site comes from a passage of Scripture where a man who was born lame asked one of Jesus’ followers for money. Jesus’ follower, Peter, replied:
Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. Acts 3:6-8 NKJV
I created suchasihave.com to be a place where I can freely give to others the many things I have freely received from God. Knowing I would have nothing were it not for the gifts God has given me, I want to share what I have in the same spirit. I hope you enjoy my blog entries, music, how-to guides, and other offerings. Most of all, I can’t wait to hear what God does as I offer these gifts in Jesus’ name.
